Robert HalfTalent Solutions is currently looking for a Project Controller (m/f/x) for a permanent position based in Leuven.

Our client is a fast growing company active in the energy sector.

As Project Controller (m/f/x) you will be responsible for:

• Finance responsible for complex and large capex projects (+ 500 MEUR) in development or construction phase;
• Coordinate the entire financial process, in close cooperation with the colleagues of project finance and accounting & tax, to bring the project to FID (Final Investment Decision) and project completion (end of construction phase);
• Lead the entire budgeting, forecasting & reporting process over the development & construction lifetime and monitor the actual spendings;
• Responsible for monthly financial reports and presentations towards different stakeholders (management team, board of directors, banks, shareholders, internal departments);
• Responsible for the cash management of the project(s);
• Have a good understanding of project finance within a large capex project;
• Responsible for the analytical masterdata of the project(s) reporting in SAP;
• Conduct one-off or regular financial & investment analyses on more specific and complex financial aspects; By doing so, you will identify and mitigate potential financial risk areas, in cooperation with the relevant departments;
• Participate and contribute to continuously improving reporting, controlling and planning processes.

The required profile for the Project Controller (m/f/x) position:

• You obtained a master's degree in finance;
• You have at least 7 years' experience and 3 years' experience in a similar role.
• You have a good ability to understand the complex financial & technical business and its interactions;
• You have in-depth knowledge of analytical and accounting concepts, and you are familiar with SAP and reporting systems;
• You have an interest in financial modelling;
• You are organized enough to be able to track multiple projects and perform several tasks at the same time;
• You are accurate and have strong analytical skills;
• You have strong social and communicative skills and can work both in team as autonomous;
• You speak and write fluently English and knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
