For an international institution based in Strasbourg, France, we are urgently looking for a Senior Business Analyst. As Senior Business Analyst, you will become part of a bigger service, composed by Project Managers, Business Analyst, Solution Architects, Developers and Testers to reinforce this growing team. Candidates need to be fluent in English.

Relocation to Strasbourg is necessary. Workpermit is required. This position is open for contractors, who would like to commit long-term.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Analysis of the IT functional and non-functional requirements, make sense of the available information and ensures that the project team understands all the details they require. This is to be done according to the applicable methodology and toolset to be used;
• Collaborate with numerous stakeholders to ensure that their concerns, requirements, and contribution are included in the requirements specification document;
• Provide input on low level detail design issues and patterns;
• Conduct business risk analysis;
• Update traceability matrices;
• Work in collaboration with Enterprise Architect and Solution Architect to design models in a modelling tool based on predefined requirements; and
• Assist with training the administrators and users of the Systems.
• Analyse & define specifications linked to the integration with other applications and/or technological components;
• Address security requirements; Security requirements shall be addressed in a similar approach across all layers of requirements representation (Business, Stakeholder, Functional and non-functional) based on the security measures as defined and described on the Security Plans;
• Translate business needs and/or opportunities into business and stakeholder requirements;
• Conduct Business Analysis according to BABOK practices applicable in the Institution;
• Gather data, inputs, and information from various sources and combine, structure, and organise them with the aim to analyse and articulate business requirements; Support internal teams to understand the business requirements to further elicit them to functional/ non-functional and technical requirements;
• Conduct elicitation, capture the elicitation outcomes, confirm/compare elicitation results against source information and/or against other elicitation results;
• Analyse the IT functional and non-functional requirements, make sense of the available information and ensure that the project team understands all the details they require;

Jouw profiel

• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT, including 7 years or more as a Business Analyst;
• Minimum 2 years of experience in modelling and UML;
• Substantial experience in Business and IT System analysis, and ability to translate business requirements into IT requirements;
• Strong experience in the use of modelling and design tools in Business or IT projects (ARIS, EA, etc.);
• Extensive knowledge and experience in UML;
• Good knowledge of relational database systems;
• Good knowledge and experience in creating use cases and working with them,
• Extensive knowledge and experience in UML;
• Good knowledge of relational database systems and BABOK practices.
• Good knowledge of requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS (DOORS)
• Ability to apply architectural principles to functional solutions and use of model-based representations to collect, aggregate or disaggregate complex and conflicting information about the business;

• Good command of English language;

• Meewerken aan de testfase en oplevering van ontwikkelde toepassingen
  Documentatie opstellen
• Controleren of het risicobeheer van de informatiesystemen van de onderneming toegepast wordt (beveiliging, vertrouwelijkheid, betrouwbaarheid, ...)
• Ondersteuning bieden bij presales
  Antwoorden op aanbestedingen
  Commerciële voorstellen uitwerken (bedragen, middelen, realisaties, termijnen, ...)
• Technische documenten formaliseren en opstellen (lastenboek, technische specificaties, ...)
• De aan nieuwe technologieën verbonden risico's identificeren en beheersen
  Veranderingen aanbevelen
• De realisatie van projecten superviseren en coördineren
• Informaticateams informeren of opleiden over de technische aspecten (werking, beveiliging, risico's, ...) of het gebruik van nieuwe informatica- en telecommiddelen
• Gebruikers, klanten en diensten adviseren en hen technisch ondersteunen
• Functionele behoeften van de onderneming of de klant analyseren
  De technische eigenschappen van het product bepalen volgens het lastenboek
